Background: Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Richmond (antigenic formula 6,7:y:1,2) is a serovar of the O:7(C1) serogroup.1 Serovar Richmond has been isolated from turtles, tilapia, moringa leaf powder, aqueducts, onion, fish products, and poultry.2,3,4,5,6,7,8
