This semester, I am working on the Floating Floc team. I am with Ling Cheung Since we halted research on the aeration method, Tiffany, Tanya, Wenny, Ling and I have all been working together to research the backwash sand filter method for removing dissolved oxygen from water. The first part of the semester was mainly semester has consisted mostly of finalizing the experimental setup, and now we will be collecting data.  I expect our results will help us find a practical solution to the problem of floating flocs.I spent a lot of time in the lab trying to make it work. I've been acting as substitute team-leader for Tiffany while she was unavailable.

I have created many of the various diagrams for the website, including all of the experimental setups (initial setup, second setup, current setup) and the illustration of our idea. I have also kept our experimental procedures on the wiki page up to date as we changed them. Ling and I both contributed to the pages of our initial experiments (initial experiment,first bubble collector experiment).

I have also contributed to So far, I have created a diagram of our setup, and have contributed to our subteam's wiki page, our subteam's semester goals, and the sand filter method wiki page. I have also written parts of the meeting minutes and meeting minutes.

Currently, we are working with the third phase of our experimental setup, and we are working to collect reliable data from which we can draw useful conclusions.
