The walls of the sedimentation tank, flocculation tank, and distribution channel are currently under construction. This is the "heart" of the AguaClara plant as described by Engineer Wilfredo Serrano, the Honduran structural engineering engineer working the AguaClara project.

The sedimentation and flocculation tanks walls are in place, and the entrance tubes for the tanks have been placed. With the tank walls constructed, the plant is starting to look more like its predecessors. The distribution channel and bottom of the sedimentation tank are currently being constructed.
The second workshop was held on November 20, 2009. The topic was water treatment process and the AguaClara technology.
