Began collection and compilation of contacts. Began to organize a presentation at a Cornell Club in Northern New York during spring break. Started an article for publication in the water eNewsletter. Waiting for information about four communities from Scott that he is going to acquire from Tomar. Contact the publishers of the eNewletter.

Weekly Goals:

Continue compilation of contacts. Finish four communities article. Create a list of publications to contact for four communities inauguration PR, and then contact them. Edit my portion of the semester goals. Contact the publishers of the eNewletter.

This Week:

Compiled lists for potential contacts, both PR and fundraiser-related. Uploaded the list of journals for future publications. Worked with Min to type Cuatro Communidades letter for the local papers. Plan on meeting with Michael Beyman from the local radio station on Thursday night to discuss potential AguaClara adds. Meeting with my friend Isha who is the treasurer of Cornell Health International to get some more ideas about the student organization and other modes of funding. Announced the Cornell Alumni meeting in NY over spring break.

Next Week:

Publish Cuatro Communidades article. Send out emails and letters to Cornell Alum and other organizations regarding funding and networking. Plan on organizing tasks for future members of AguaClara Club. Make rough draft of AguaClara informational letters to be passes at to NGOs in DC over spring break.

Met with Monroe and discussed goals for website: (1) streamlining navigation and organizing content; (2) formatting pictures for faster downloads and more appeal.

DID: Get info from nicole about Feb 25 presentation. Contact Jeff Will about what he expects and what I can do to help him out. Sent a mass email out to AguaClara team to see who can volunteer (Btw Scott, Matt Hurst are the only ones who replied to present on that day. If no body nobody replies yes this weekend, I will ask Scott to help out? I can't go that day because I have a chem prelim). Completed abstract for the bio expo and sent out.

To do: Look in to the bio expo see what else i can do, remind Matt on Feb 23 abt the presentationwtart presentation and start working on the next presentation. Will put together a PowerPoint presentation from the available slides on line. Will check to see if a projector will be needed. Will contact Brandon and obtain ideas about departments or professors I can contact and offer AguaClara presentations. Going to edit my portion of the wiki page.

Accomplishments: Extensive edit of semester goals. Added much more detail to each team members semester responsibilities. Once again split the group into two working groups, PR and Funding. PR will be managed by Brandon and Funding will be managed by Joe. Required each team member to read goals and respond with questions and comments. Still waiting for comments from most team members. Wrote down team member Accomplishments and Goals for the next week. After talking to Monroe, decided to request more detailed meeting minutes from each team member. Requested that team members turn in meeting minutes by noon on Friday. This was very last minute and most team members had minutes in on time. Required due date for meeting minutes in the future is midnight on WedensdaysWednesdays. Added team meeting times to Google calendar. Got in contact with Tomar. We discussed here interest in funding sources in Honduras. Also, requested a report about the four communities water project for use in PR project. We also discussed the disipointing results of the Coliform tests. I am going to look into possibilities for AguaClara performing Coliform tests of our own.
