A number of universities offer undergraduate majors that prepare students for careers in food safety. Comperatively Comparatively few universities offer designated studies in a "Food Safety" major; rather undergrduate undergraduate training in food saftey safety is typically offered within major in "Food Science", "Food Scienec Science and Technology, or a major in "Food Science and Nutrition".
