Spring 2009 Contributions

During this Earlier in the semester, I have met with both the Aeration and Sand Filter sub-subteams to do experiments using the two different setups. I have worked with Tiffany and Tanya on trying to collect data with the Aeration System, and I also did an experiment with Haley and Ling and studied data collected from the Sand Filter System.

When the entire subteam merged back into just the Sand Filter Team, I met regularly with the other team members to set up experiments and build the re-designed Sand Filter System. Other tasks that I performed involved going into the lab to change sand grains when we were ready to run a new experiment, measuring the actual flow rate of water leaving the system, performing sugar tests, and looking at the data produced from the experiments.

Outside of the lab, I I also worked on literature searches and created the Annotated Bibliography page, writing summaries for the articles that I found and writing the bibliographic citationcitations. Additionally, throughout the semester I have been making small changes to and editing I helped edit and maintain the Floating Floc wiki page and worked with the other team members on the midterm and final wiki reports.
