Scope: This document outlines the steps involved in creating order records in Voyager in FOLIO for items selected from Sunday's New York Times to be placed in CUL's New & Noteworthy section. The premise is that the orders will be treated as rush.

Each week the bibliographer selector for American and English literature selects his choices from the Book Review section of the Sunday NY Times, for ordering. The bibliographer selector uses the OASIS GOBI interface to create bib records in Voyager, and includes to send order requests to LTS with appropriate notes to identify his selections as destined for New & Noteworthy section. Additionally he , the selector sends a separate email with the list of selected titles to the Ordering Unit's group print ordering mailbox. Ordering The ordering staff will order requested requested titles from Coutts if directly from GOBI if they have the status ofIn stock Rush available. Otherwise, they will order from Amazon.
A. Notification from the Selector of New & Noteworthy titles:Anchor A A
- Early in each work Each week, the selector sends a message to ltsorders@cornell.edu with a list of his selections for that week.
- Designated LTS ordering staff member sorts through the daily ITSO query and kickout folders to ensure that each requested title is associated with a Voyager PO.
- Also, and as appropriate, ISBNs for selected titles may be searched in Voyager to determine whether PO was created.
- The selector submits order requests for selected titles through GOBI.
- Next business day, designated LTS Ordering staff searches selections in GOBI and reviews order details.
- If title status in GOBI is "In Stock/ Rush Available", directly place GOBI RUSH order.
- If title status in GOBI isn't "Rush Available", create Amazon PO and order from Amazon. Ordering staff will move note (NYBR; NEW-NOTEWORTHY) from the Notes area of the line item in the Voyager purchase order to the Requester area of the line item.
B. Choosing Retrieve selected titles from the OASIS interface:in GOBI and order:Anchor B B
- Open GOBI and loginOrder all requested titles through the OASIS interface if available, by logging into the Stockrush account.
- Using the ISBN from Voyager MARC record, search OASIS interface for availabilitythe selected titles, search in FOLIO for a duplicate record, making sure the item is listed as is not yet owned.
- Confirm the title status in GOBI is "In Stock/Stock Rush Available.
- Confirm price in OASIS and choose hardcover option when one is available.
- Open “Order Info” tab and enter order info: PO#, fund code 521, check the square box of Stock Rush, enter notes “Stock Rush” in note to Coutts field or use the previously saved NYTBR template but change the PO#.
- ".
- Mark the left side of the item and click “Add to Order Cart” button. Follow steps 2 and 3 for each title.
- Click on the cart icon on top right corner to view the order cart.
- Mark left side of items and click Rush order icon. Proceed with the order.
- If the item is not Rush available in GOBI, create a purchase order (vendor code; Amazonbus), and order from Amazon.
- If ordering more than one title, bring a cursor to green arrow (action) and click Add to cart for each title.
- Click on the shopping cart tab and follow Step 5 for each title.
- View the ordered title listed in OASIS. Click Orders then click Search All Orders & Invoices. Find orders on a title-by-title basis.

- Make sure each PO line has “NYTBR; NEW&NOTEWORTHY”, in the receiving note field.
- In the receiving app, edit each PO line and check the box of “Must acknowledge receiving note” and save.
- Edit PO. Enter LTS Acquisitions in "Bill to" and "Ship to" fields.
- Title appears as "Library open order" in GOBI and it arrives within 2-4 business days.
