Land-line telephones in LTS are intended primarily for business purposes. Aside from unavoidable or emergency situations, the use of these phones for other purposes should be kept to a minimum. Also, please be considerate of those around you by speaking in a quiet or moderate tone when using these phones.
For long-distance calls, use pre-paid calling cards or credit cards for the land-line phones. If you need to make long-distance calls as part of your job, please speak to your supervisor about an authorization code for these calls. Do not dial direct! Cornell University uses RingCentral to manage business phones. If you require business phone number on RingCentral or have questions about how we use RingCentral in LTS, contact your supervisor.
