Geographical distribution: Serovar Amsterdam has been reported primarily in European countries such as the Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden. According to the metadata from NCBI PD, it has also been found occasionally in North America (US and Canada), Asia (Philippines and Thailand), and Australia.
