  • Go to “Settings” → “Authorization roles“roles”, this will pen the Role managment management window. 

  • Click on “New“ “New” button; this will open the New role window.
    1. By default there are no Capability sets or
    Capailities
    1. Capabilities shown, this will be addressed in 

  • Fill role name with any unique value → Click on “Save & close“ close” button.


  • Click on the "Select application" “Select application” button. This will open the "Select application" “Select application” dialog. 
  • Using the checkboxes select what appliaiton application area you would like to like to add Capability sets or Capabilities from. 
    click Click on "Save “Save and close" close” to display the Capability sets and Capabilities.

  • Using the checkboxes provided select the Capabity Capability sets and Capabilities that you woudl would like this role to have
  • Expanded Capability sets can be found here: Public Data Pages


  • When you have selected all the Capability sets and Capabilities you would like to assign to this Role, click on the "Save “Save and close" close” button. The Role will now be avaiable available to be assigned to a user.
