Using a QuickAdd package
Summary
Enroll Computers using QuickAdd Package.
- Requires Chemistry IT's ADM accounts so student staff can't do this unassisted.
Details
- Install the package, for example "JAMFQuickAdd-Chemistry-***" to the computer. The computer will be enrolled to JAMF Casper after the installation is done.

- Specific example of the path and file name, as of 4/6/2018:
- smb://chemit.chem.cornell.edu/ChemIT-Files/Macintosh/Casper, JAMF Pro/JAMFQuickAdd-Chemistry-12112017.pkg
- Go to Casper Management website https://jssmgt.it.cornell.edu/arts/ to edit the new added computer information.
- Click "smart Computer Groups" then "No Departments" (This group is site is "None", so you have to use your ADM account to login to see this group), you will see the new added computer is listed there.
- Or You can find the computer on "search Inventory" and go to "AS-CHM-All Computers" or "AS-PHY-All Computers"
- Click the computer then edit "User and Location", ???"Purchasing" (Warranty Expiration, AppleCare ID, Life Expectancy)
