Land-line telephones in LTS are intended primarily for business purposes.  Aside from unavoidable or emergency situations, the use of these phones for other purposes should be kept to a minimum.  Also, please be considerate of those around you by speaking in a quiet or moderate tone when using these phones. 

For Please do not make long-distance calls , use pre-paid calling cards or credit cards for the land-line phones.  If you need to make long-distance calls as part of your job, please speak to your supervisor about an authorization code for these calls.  Do not dial direct! from LTS phones, unless they are work-related.
