• Designed and fabricated new UASB reactors
• inoculated and prepared reactors for summer research
• Fixed leaks and created an accurate methane measurement system 
• Used GC and COD analysis to measure UASB performance 

Goals for future work:

• Use a UASB for collaboration with the GSBR team
• Conduct experiments with the UASBs including varying the strength of wastewater, acid or oxygen stress
• Implement UASB technology in Honduras
