Fall 2015 Contributions

I am in the Chemical Safety team. Our aim is to create a safety manual for the operators of the plants in Honduras. We are currently researching the safety hazards and first aid procedures regarding the chemicals used in the plants, mainly PACl, calcium hypochlorite, liquid chlorine and HCl. We are also researching the types of PPE available to ensure maximum protection for the operators.
