Data incoming faculty must provide to fill in web info as described below
A square photo, 200*200 pixels, for VIVO.
We can then lower its resolution to 100*100 for use at the following CCB web site page, <http://chemistry.cornell.edu/faculty/faculty.cfm>.
A landscape photo, 255 pixels wide* 170 pixels high (not the portrait orientation!).
Their “keywords” regarding their research so we can properly create their entries at the following CCB web site page, <http://chemistry.cornell.edu/faculty/faculty.cfm>.
Their research areas, as defined among the 12 areas listed at our CCB web page, <http://chemistry.cornell.edu/research/>.
This information is given to the A&S’s web folks so they can update the CCB matrix with their names, <http://chemistry.cornell.edu/faculty/faculty-research.cfm>.
A string of comma-separated words regarding their research so that text can appear in the appropriate category for each web page linked from the above research areas, <http://chemistry.cornell.edu/research/>.
Notes
- Faculty must curate their own VIVO entries (entering their own NetID credentials in VIVO, to start editing) since much of their VIVO information gets shown within Chemistry's web site automatically (such as links to their lab group, bibliography, and such.)
- Also, faculty may designate anyone to edit their VIVO entries on their behalf. They do this by designating those folks as proxies. See "Add profile editor", under "Who can edit my profile" on this VIVO page:
- Regarding the each CCB faculty's individual page, the only exception that all data comes from VIVO is the image of the faculty member on their CCB faculty page.
- Adding or changing this image is done via a request to A&S Comm. staff (via CCBB's <chemweb@cornell.edu>).
