This semester I worked on the materials list for the AguaClara Design team. I began this semester by designing the overall structure of the materials list including its purpose, features and parts. I also outlined in this the Final Design Report what the general steps are to create a useful materials list. I then began working worked on the lances calculation. Before I began writing the code to calculate : building the pipe length matrix and the code for calculating the number of needed lances, I needed to create a pipe matrix that would included all the pipes in the plant design. I spent a large part of the semester finding the best way to build the pipe matrix.
