So that CNF can contact you in case of an emergency, keeping your personal contact information up to date is important. CNF is transitioning to Coral being the authoritative source for user contact information.
Steps to Update Contact Info
Automated emails for items such as forgetting to log off a tool, notifications of tool downtime, and changes to to the operating status of the lab may also be sent to your listed email address.
Steps to Update Contact Info
- Point your web browser to the CNF WhoIAm site
- Login with your Cornell NetID or Cornell GuestID
- Click "My Contact Information"
- Update your information
- Click the "Update Contact Information" button at the bottom of the page
- Start Coral (either via Applications - Coral on the Sunrays or via the "Coral" link on the CNFUsers website)
- From the Window menu, select Resource (this brings up the separate "Resource" client)
- In the "Search for" box, select Members
- In the "by" box, select "name"
- Click in the box above the "Search" button, and type in the short version of your netid or guestid (all lowercase)
- Click "Search"
- Highlight your netid/guestid in the result list
- Click "View member information"
- Make any changes to your address, phone, and/or email (other fields can only be edited by CNF Staff)
- Click the "Apply changes" button to save your changes
- Click the "Exit" button to close the Resource client
- From the "Window" menu, choose "Exit" to quit Coral altogether
