During this Spring 2010 semester I have been working on the Design Team. Specifically, I have been communicating with members of the rapid mixer design team and chemical doser research team to create an optimum design for the Alum Chemical Storage tank. I created a rectangular storage tank an algorithm which calculates the dimensions of the tanktank dimensions in MathCAD. Then I created AutoCAD algorithm to draw the rectangular alum storage tank in correct positioning relative algorithm which draws the tank. The last thing I've done is determine the x,y,z coordinates of the storage tank in relation to the plant origin.
