Summer 2009 Contributions

I assisted During Summer 2009, I worked with Jeff Kats and Josiah Pothen in Design Team. I assisted my team to redesign sedimentation exit channel based on head loss calculation. I updated the new After my team calculated the optimal width of the exit channel, I took wireframe images of the redesigned exit channel in AutoCAD and updated them in the sedimentation design page.

I am currently working on designing a flocculator draining system with Jeff and Josiah. The first draft (sketch by hand) and AutoCAD objects will be made before we edit the Mathcad scripts.

Also, I am trying to figure out how to code a script that automatically makes construction video of the AutoCAD objectsAlso, my team worked on designing the prototype of a drainage system in a flocculator that drains sludges without valves. I created a three dimensional AutoCAD draft of the drainage system. In addition to the team projects, I worked independently on creating rendered animations showing how each element of a sedimentation tank assembles together.
