For the first week during the first set of summer meeting minutes will be due before 5 PM on Wednesday. The first meeting minutes will have the following expecations documented:

1. A team leader shall be chosen (if not already)
2a. For a research team, the team leader or Matt will make a demonstration of how to run experiments, collect data, and analyze that data as well as a demonstration of underlying theory behind work
2b. For a design team, the team leader at their own discretion will make a demonstration of relevant tools utilized for design
3. If necessary, subteams will be formed within the team
4. The team will review general expectations for the summer
5. The team members will discuss these expectations and how these will be accomplished over the summer

The purpose is to review expectations of meeting minutes during the first meeting of class and to individually make comments to teams on their structure. The revised set of meeting minutes along with additional meeting minutes will be due 5 PM Friday June 12th. If you are not able to accomplish all of the objectives by Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will give your team additional timeRevised meeting minutes are due by 5 PM on Friday. Second Week

The second week is where all research teams will come up with a research plan for that week and carry out experiments. This progress and the research plan should be documented in the meeting minutes.
