The Sanjuan Fund is proud to support several programs at the College of Engineering of Cornell University. In cooperation with the College of Engineering, Engineers for a Sustainable World (ESW), and others, we have helped the AguaClara Project to begin to build village water treatment systems in the Honduras using sustainable and affordable designs. Through the Amanecer Project, the fund is helping students to build and test solar cooking devices in Nicaragua. The fund has also made a multi-year commitment to fund student work-study scholarships, the Sanjuan-SEED Scholarships, for volunteers working on Cornell ESW projects in Latin America.
